The Tucson Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of renowned conductor José Luis Gómez, presents a spectacular evening of classical music with a program that includes Joan Tower's Sixth Fanfare for the Uncommon Woman, Muczynski's Symphony, and Copland's celebrated Symphony No. 3. This event promises an evening of powerful and evocative music, showcasing the talents of both the orchestra and the conductor.
Experience the mastery of Grammy award winning artist Yamandu Costa, one of the world's greatest 7-string guitar virtuosos, in a solo performance that showcases the depth and breadth of Brazilian musical traditions. Known for his intense performances and impeccable technique, Costa brings the spirit of Brazil to life with every concert.

Interpol, a renowned post-punk band, will perform a captivating set featuring their iconic hits and new tracks from their latest album. Their energetic live performances are not to be missed.

Messer Chups, a highly anticipated performance, will take place at the Rialto Theatre on 2/20. Doors open at 7 PM, with the show starting at 8 PM. The event is general admission, standing, and open to all ages 6 and over. The Rialto Theatre has a clear bag policy for entry, and all sales are final with no refunds or exchanges. Clear bags are available for purchase at the box office.

The final program of our season is a bouquet of sumptuous sophistication, playful choreography, and flair. Featuring three ballets by famed choreographers George Balanchine, Ron Cunningham and Matthew Neenan, it promises to offer a thrilling conclusion to our 2025/2026 Season.
Second Saturdays on April 11th by Desert Decibels ft. Ghast, Unexpected Pedestrian, Thomas B, SoapLab, and Steve Bonez. Explore the darker, deeper, and more experimental side of bass drawing from Dubstep, Drum n Bass, UKG and tunes that defy categorization. Expect a blend of genres that push the boundaries of bass. This isn’t your typical club night; it’s a sonic exploration crafted by veteran selectors.

This week features the award-winning Tucson Jazz Institute Ellington Big Band during the first set performing the music of Duke Ellington. They're followed by the Century Jazz Orchestra. Inspired by the Vanguard Jazz Orchestra, the 17-piece Century Jazz Orchestra performs every Monday night at the Century Room starting at 6:30pm. Expect music from the Count Basie Orchestra, Duke Ellington Orchestra, the Thad Jones/Mel Louis Jazz Orchestra, plus classics from Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw and much more! An intergenerational ensemble, the CJO fosters community with students, teachers and professionals performing alongside each other and is supported by the Sonora Arts & Music Initiative 501(c)3. Come relive the magic of the big band era every Monday as the CJO keeps the music alive and thriving in the 21st Century! This smartphone-based game features authentic questions from the show's writers, dynamic league leaderboards, and the chance to qualify to be contestants on the actual TV show! Join us every Wednesday for some Jeopardy fun! Food from the Cup Cafe and drinks will be available for purchase.

Join Space Travelers Union for a special tour kickoff performance where they'll be debuting new music before they hit the road to Los Angeles, New Orleans, and many other American cities. Space Travelers Union is a creative-musician collective formed in the Arizona desert through the meeting of composition, improvisation, and electronic signal. The project has reached international audiences through BBC6, Radio France’s FIP, JazzFM, and Gilles Peterson’s WorldwideFM, with additional recognition from Bandcamp’s “New and Notable" and YouTube Music’s Jazz Hotlist. This performance features: Kenji Wagner (Trumpet + Guitar), Kenji Ono Lancaster (Drums), Ryan Wheless (Saxophone + Banjo + Electronics), Colin McIlrath (Bass), Eric Nakanishi (Saxophone). This performance is presented as part of the ongoing Space Travelers Union Presents residency at the Century Room.
