The Whiffenpoofs of 2026 are incredibly excited to perform at ASU Kerr, singing a mix of classic and contemporary favorites! This concert kicks off their tour of Phoenix, Arizona, the hometown of current member Lucas Oland. Every year, 14 senior Yale students are selected to be in the Whiffenpoofs, the world's oldest and best-known collegiate a cappella group. Founded in 1909, the Whiffs began as a senior quartet that met weekly at Mory's Temple Bar. Today, the group has become one of Yale's most celebrated traditions. Singing a mixture of old Yale tunes, jazz standards, and other hits from across the decades, the Whiffenpoofs perform more than 200 concerts across six continents each year. In past years, the Whiffs have sung for Presidents Obama, Bush, Clinton and Reagan, and at venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and the Kennedy Center. They've even been featured on television shows such as The Sing Off, The West Wing, and Glee.

The trio has performed across Europe and the Americas, earning acclaim for their inventive programming and polished sound. A concert presentation of the Broadway musical Little Women follows the adventures of sisters Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy March. Begrudgingly taking this advice, Jo weaves the story of herself and her sisters and their experience growing up in Civil War America. Produced nationally and internationally, this musical adaptation of the timeless, captivating story is filled with personal discovery, heartache, hope and everlasting love. Co-presented by The Bridge Initiative and ASU Kerr **This performance is funded in part by a grant from Scottsdale Arts with funding provided by the City of Scottsdale.
