This Level I Refresher course, instructed by Mathieu Brown, covers essential avalanche safety topics including backcountry checklist application, interpreting avalanche forecasts, snow metamorphism review, snow behavior and mechanics, stability tests, route planning, terrain recognition, human factors, communication, and rescue scenarios with transceiver practice.
