Speak up when it matters. Our work lives are full of barriers that make courageous conversations difficult. Barriers of job titles, office culture, age differences, and poor communication skills can get in our way of talking about hard things in a meaningful way. In this session, we will role play difficult (fictional) conversations and share strategies that work for overcoming the barriers to find meaningful connection.
How can I thank thee? Let me count the ways. Gratitude is a game-changing practice! Bring your favorite donor stories and we will create a Donor Gratitude Wall to uplift ourselves and each other! Participants will leave with new ideas for gratitude and donor relations, as well as thank-you notes to send to our favorite donors. Note: we will carry out this activity with respect for donor privacy; anonymous stories are encouraged.
