A Hiring Fair hosted by the Jefferson County DA's Office aimed at providing economic stability through jobs for former offenders. This is only for Employers. If you are a Job-seeker plan to attend but there is no need to register. Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office in collaboration with several local nonprofit organizations, businesses and government agencies will hold a job fair specifically for formerly incarcerated and justice involved individuals. The DA’s office recognizes there is significant correlation between crime and poverty; which is exacerbated with the prohibitive effect criminal histories have when attempting to secure employment. Therefore, connecting this target population with felony friendly prospective employers is an effort to begin meaningful community outreach for our often forgotten citizens. We invite employers to help us combat this problem in our community by registering and attending the Second Chance Hiring Fair on April 14th 2026 at the Boutwell Auditorium. Come prepared to provide second chances in the form of employment to those who have paid their debt to society and are seeking to become a successful and productive citizen.
