Join us at Didsbury Death Cafe for a safe space to talk openly about death, dying and grief with no agenda or specified topics. It is a very open meeting and we welcome anyone to our free event. Most people who attend have not been before, and we have a different group every time. There is no agenda or no set topics of conversation, so we encourage all conversations related to death. You will be joining us for a relaxed coffee & cake and a chance to meet others to talk openly. The meeting is usually very casual, and you will be in tables of 3-5 people and have the chance to talk about anything you wish. You can also just sit and listen if you would prefer. There will be a maximum of 20 people in total, most of which are new faces each time. It is a relaxed environment where everyone is welcome.
This is a 60-minute embodied yoga practice suitable for all bodies, brains and abilities. In this class there will be guided movement and meditation focused on connecting body and breath, and underpinned by yogic philosophy. My style of practice focuses on inclusivity and providing you with agency to move in a way and pace that feels right for you, whilst still maintaining a guided framework of suggestions and invitations. Whether you're new to yoga or you practice regularly, the invitation is for you to come as you are to flow together in a relaxed and welcoming space.
