Make a picture of a poppy field in this fun and relaxing 2.5 hour workshop with established York textile artist, Brenda Christison from Felty and Fabulous. Bring along a favourite photo or let your imagination run wild! Lots of examples will be provided for inspiration. You will start by sketching your ideas and then learn 2D needle felting techniques, using a vintage blanket as a base, creating a picture to take home. There will also be the option to add further detail and embellishment with embroidery. All equipment provided, including a selection of gorgeous wool colours to choose from and the option to purchase a frame to mount your masterpiece. Age 10+ (under 16s to be accompanied by an adult). Suitable for beginners and the more experienced. Small group workshop (Min. 4, Max 10).
