Join master puppeteer, Karen Hethey in the creation of large scale puppets for the launch of the Waangka Danjoo Nyininy Yarning Circle. The puppets link to a Noongar creation story as shared by esteemed Noongar elder, Uncle Noel Nannup. These very hands on sessions involve all kinds of creativity and craft. Children under 12 MUST be accompanied by an adult. Participants need to BYO all food for the day. Tea, coffee and water supplied. Participants can join for a full day or half day session. Come once, or come everyday.

Free entry with password - 432 Hz. Free entry but neat casual attire required. Doors open 7pm - dress code applies (a ticket does not entitle entry if not in appropriate attire). NO THONGS, TRACKSUITS, WORK CLOTHES OR FOOTBALL ATTIRE. Lock-in after 10:30 (no new entries permitted). Venue closes midnight.

Dean Haitani on Tour. With his unique finger style and soulful earthy vocals, Dean Haitani is an accomplished guitarist/singer/songwriter. His distinctive sounds comes from the influence of his guitar hero Mark Knopfler and his ability to cross many musical genres. Dean’s has honed the craft of both acoustic & electric guitar and his dynamic live performance comprises of foot percussion, a variety of guitars (running octave, delay, distortion, phaser & wah effects) vocals & harmonica. Over the last 30 years Dean has toured the US, UK,NZ & Europe. Dean has over 20 years in the industry, touring nationally and internationally (UK, Europe and USA) and most recently promoting his latest album 'Red Dust' produced by Nicky Bomba and which reached #1 on the Blues & Roots Airplay Charts. Haitani has played many festivals [in 2019 Marysville Blues & Jazz, Bendigo Blues & Roots, Australian Blues Festival, & Yack Folk Festival] as well as supporting artists such as James Morrison, Ian Moss, Glenn Shorrock, and The Black Sorrows.
