Find the best history events and make the most of your time next 30-days in Blythewood. From sports to parenting and more, we have the biggest event range and best discovery experience, there's something for everyone.
Community Open Day to mark 50 years of the National Trust conserving, celebrating and sharing Old Blythewood's stories. Reflect on the stunning natural environment that served as a farming, hunting, and gathering spot for the Bindjareb Noongar people for tens of thousands of years. Explore the heritage house built by John and Mary Anne McLarty in 1860 that was not only the family farm and home, but a thriving community business. And discover how the National Trust has been conserving, celebrating and sharing Old Blythewood's stories so that future generations can continue to enjoy it. This family friendly community event will be enhanced by music from the WA Youth Jazz Orchestra (WAYJO) with coffee and treats available for purchase from local favourite Black Velvet and Honey.
