Discover the best events and make the most of your time in Wallington. From education to spirituality and more, we have the biggest event range and best discovery experience, there's something for everyone.

Join us Monday 13th April at a beautiful private property in Wallington/Ocean Grove. Surrounded by trees, open space, and wildlife, this group is designed to nurture physical, emotional, sensory, and social development. During this session we will have a range of natural materials available to weave and create. Some ideas you might choose: forage for natural items, learn some weaving skills, take home your own creation, explore the space and enjoy some extended time outdoors with like-minded families, pick up some new information on the plants and animals. We are a 100% outdoors, all weather group. We keep a predictable rhythm of connection play and story. Flora and Fauna connection is a big part of our program with the group facilitated by an ecologist and teacher. We also have an experienced Steiner teacher to lead us in the art of weaving joining us for this one.

Join us Tuesday 14th April at a beautiful private property in Wallington/Ocean Grove. Surrounded by trees, open space, and wildlife, this group is designed to nurture physical, emotional, sensory, and social development. This session is one for the adults - an Adult Weaving Workshop Prior to the session Alys will be preparing plant fibres and providing all materials and guidance needed to learn the weaving method. You will continue on to complete a small basket to take home with the offer of a herbal tea as you settle in to learn. Once you have learnt these techniques, its easy to continue weaving any shapes or creations you please in the future with many of the different plants found in your local area. Weaving is a simple and soothing creative process, that brings a beautiful re-connection to ancestral ways. Children are most welcome to accompany their adult to the session and either sit in circle with the weaving, or explore the surrounding space alongside our other Holiday Program participants. Our Nature Play Facilitators will be supervising the children's space so their adults can focus on the weaving workshop.

Join us Wednesday mornings at a beautiful private property in Wallington/Ocean Grove. Surrounded by trees, open space, and wildlife, this group is designed to nurture physical, emotional, sensory, and social development. We are a 100% outdoors, all weather group. We keep a predictable rhythm of connection play and story. We use real tools to explore our space, bushcraft and nature arts. Flora and Fauna connection is a big part of our program with the group facilitated by an ecologist and teacher. Each session will feature an invitation/springboard which is linked to our overarching theme. Participants are invited to join in, or follow their own path in the company of their family. All children attending the Family Forest Skills, whatever their age, are to be fully supervised by their families despite it being a facilitated session. Because adults remain with their children (other than a few drop-off spots), we will have high adult-to-child ratios meaning we’re able to provide this session at a lower rate than our supported drop-off programs.
