Comedy Events in Port Fairy

Port Fairy Short Plays is in its 10th successful year. We have been able to support many local playwrights, and aspiring actors and directors to develop confidence in their field. Over the 10 years we have had many plays that have dealt with current political issues, local issues, women, youth, and LGBTQI concerns and many everyday comedies and reflections on life. We have had great local audience feedback and regular sell outs of some sessions. This year we have 5 plays, all written by returning writers covering themes of parenting, bureaucracy, detective thrillers and women in the workplace.
