Cromby’s career is on a steep upward trajectory, the Irish DJ and producer who now calls Berlin home, has played at major clubs and festivals all over the world including esteemed venues like Robert Johnson, The Warehouse Project, Fabric & Boiler Room. Becoming a regular at Panorama Bar, Cromby was invited to do the infamous closing slot which he did with an immense 11 hour set back in December 2019, returning again this year for more. Cutting his teeth holding down a six year residency at the legendary Shine in Belfast, Crombys first record came out in 2012 on New Yorks The Love Revolution. Then came two releases on Berlins Tenderpark and a relocation to Berlin via London. 2018 and 2019 proved to be breakthrough years in his career, seeing him release on three groundbreaking labels; Sulta Selects Silver Service, Feel My Bicep & Unknown To The Unknown. 2020 is set to be even bigger with Cromby embarking on tours of Australia, Asia and the Americas. With two more EPs already signed to respected labels, its more than safe to say he is one to watch.

Bad Batch Zine Presents a blistering night of Aussie Rock ‘n’ Roll in the BC Bandroom, Saturday 11th April, 2026 featuring W.O.M.B.A.T + G-String Nicotine + Kitty Mustang. Melbourne’s (W.O.M.B.A.T) Waste of Money, Brains and Time deliver a chaotic mix of rock ‘n’ roll swagger and punk energy, balancing rough-edged guitars with surprisingly catchy hooks. Their debut EP Inbrace introduced a fast, guitar-driven style shaped by the contemporary Melbourne rock and punk scene. On stage, W.O.M.B.A.T bring a loud, loose, high-energy show built around big riffs, attitude and a sense that anything could happen next. Geelong outfit G-String Nicotine specialise in loud, distorted rock that leans heavily into a punk attitude delivering a solid stage presence and tongue-in-cheek stage aesthetic. The band are building an ever growing fanbase developing some original tunes to go with their blistering cover set. Fronted by the charismatic Kitty (Saskia), Kitty Mustang fuse indie rock attitude with grooves pulled from jazz-fusion, classic rock and modern alternative influences. Their sound moves easily between tight rhythm sections, melodic guitar lines and a cool, groove-driven feel with a live performance that stands out in the Melbourne indie scene. This will be a ripper night of Oz Rock at The BC for a very special Bad Batch Zine Celebration! Presale Tix $20 + b/f / Door $25 Doors 7:30pm

Taking their name from a line in Hooray For Hollywood — inspired by the song’s jarring use in Robert Altman’s The Long Goodbye — Any Young Mechanic bring an aptly cinematic quality to their music. The Tarntanya/Adelaide-based five-piece are redefining contemporary folk through narrative-driven songwriting and vivid, widescreen arrangements. Before ever officially releasing music, they have already started building a reputation on the road, turning heads with striking festival appearances at Reading & Leeds and Rock en Seine over the past year, and are set to return to touring throughout the year ahead. Drawing on classical training, the city’s tight-knit DIY music scene, and modern UK experimental influences, they craft immersive songs built from criss-crossing rhythmic paths, melodic alleys and lyrical highways. Capturing the immediacy and energy of musicians performing together, Any Young Mechanic balance folk’s enduring charm with bold, live acoustic instrumentation and a sharp, contemporary edge, creating music that feels intimate, expansive, and subtly different with every listen.
