Join us at Echuca Regional Health to learn & discuss the manual handling risks that occur during the ‘episode of care’ for the larger person. Introduction to repositioning and transferring the larger person. This session is open to Nolift co-ordinators, risk and safety professionals, and those working towards managing the risks associated with hazardous manual handling in the healthcare industry. Places are limited to allow for participants to share and engage in group discussion and problem solving, sharing of resources and hands on observation of procedures. Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided.

Aboriginal Housing Victoria will be holding a community information session on home ownership at Njernda Aboriginal Corporation on the 29th of April from 10.30am to 3pm. Lunch provided. Come along to find out more about AHV’s Renter Home Purchase Program, Homes Victoria’s First People’s Home Ownership Program, home loans available through IBA and NAB, and general information about home ownership options and pathways available. AHV’s Housing Pathways team will be available to answer questions and support. All welcome, however the session will be targeted to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander community members.
