A fun, interactive Storytime celebrating bugs and other tiny creatures. Join us for a fun-filled science adventure all about insects and other tiny creatures! We'll start with a delightful story about some incredible insect friends, then explore the amazing world of minibeasts. Discover how living things have unique features, grow and change, and have offspring just like themselves. Get hands-on by dressing up as your favourite bug, and even meet some real live minibeasts up close! Ages 3-5 years. This special Storytime is presented by the Discovery Science & Technology Centre in Bendigo and includes hands-on, interactive activities that foster your child's literacy and STEM skills. Supported by the Dept of Industry, Science and Resources.

VMBSG In-Person Professional Development Seminar Come along to the second in the 2026 series of VMBSG Professional Development Seminars, to be held at Castlemaine Town Hall and hosted by Mt Alexander Shire Council, offering a platform for government entities and agencies to keep VMBSG members informed about industry developments. Attending members will have the opportunity to receive updates from the State Building Surveyor, the Building Plumbing Commission, Fire Rescue Victoria, and more.
