Adventure Events in South West

We're making waves around the world in 2026, join the annual Paddle for Pedder! We'll be heading out to the Tas Wilderness World Heritage Area, and paddling off on the waters which once were Lake Pedder. Meeting at Ted's Beach, this is an amazing opportunity to put a bit of love into a gorgeous part of Lutruwita/Tasmania with a disheartening history. The Paddle for Pedder show's that we are still here, showing up, getting loud and out there for Pedder even after 50 years of inundation. Come along and paddle in a double sea kayak provided by Restore Lake Pedder, or bring along your own kayak, canoe or pack raft to ensure as many people can come out and enjoy such a magical environment. All are welcome, individuals who grew up going to Pedder who have personal stories to share and reflect upon, or those who have never set foot in the TWWHA, everyone makes a difference! No paddling experience necessary!
