Hailing from the Ozarks of Arkansas, Welles has become a voice of truth in troubled times. A relentless troubadour, travelling and performing and writing songs in the tradition of Dylan, Guthrie and Prine, Welles has taken his music to every corner of North American and Europe. And now it’s Australia’s turn. With a guitar in hand and words as sharp as a blade, Welles sings from the heartlands of America, addressing politics, society and matters of the heart through his raw songs and shows. His performances – whether under the wide-open sky of his hometown, in miniature edits on his far-reaching online platforms, or in front of sold-out venues – leave a mark that lingers long after the last note. After gathering a fanbase through millions of streams and earning critical acclaim from the likes of Rolling Stone and the New York Times, to touring with Greta Van Fleet, Highly Suspect, and Royal Blood, Jesse Welles finally steps onto Australian soil this summer with his Down Under The Powerlines tour. Expect an evening of stories and songs, humour and hope from one of the most fearless songwriters of his generation.

Since launching in early 2023, metallic hardcore punk band Better Lovers has risen to global prominence at a pace as blistering as their chaotic music. Built from the foundation of Every Time I Die - guitarist Jordan Buckley, drummer Clayton “Goose” Holyoak, and bassist Stephen Micciche - the group could not have gone any harder than rounding out the ranks by enlisting former The Dillinger Escape Plan vocalist Greg Puciato, and Fit For An Autopsy guitarist and super-producer Will Putney. After tearing it up all around the world for the last two years, and ripping out the absolutely stunning album Highly Irresponsible in 2024, the living legends will finally make their Australian debut with six killer shows this coming January. Joining the tour to also make their Australian debut will be the exciting British hybrid of shoegaze, post-hardcore, and nu-metal that is Split Chain, who released their debut album Motionblur in 2024 via the legendary Epitaph Records. The prolific and celebrated Gold Coast screamo/chaotic hardcore outfit Blind Girls will round out this incredibly fresh and compelling package. After six long years, cult-favourite band The Growlers return to Australia as part of their first global run since 2019—a highly anticipated revisit that fans old and new have been waiting for. The 2026 global tour kicks off in Australia, where the band will perform across the East Coast with Melbourne’s very own The Grogans supporting. Fronted by the compelling presence of Brooks Nielsen, The Growlers’ return opens a new chapter in a story rooted in Southern California underground mythology. The band built a devoted global fanbase by pioneering the “Beach Goth” aesthetic — a fluid mix of surf-garage-pop-punk — and became legendary for early club and warehouse tours aboard their now-mythic school bus “Lizzie,” much in the spirit of the Merry Pranksters’ Furthur. The Growlers have made records with both Dan Auerbach and Julian Casablancas, and their studio evolution reached a high point with the Casablancas–produced album City Club alongside the earlier Chinese Fountain. And now, with longtime drummer Richard Gowen back in the fold, the chemistry that defined their best live shows has returned.

And now, with longtime drummer Richard Gowen back in the fold, the chemistry that defined their best live shows has returned. While The Growlers paused full touring in 2019, Brooks Nielsen kept the creative engine running. Over the past few years Nielsen has released five solo albums and played hundreds of shows worldwide. That prolific solo era recently concluded with two sold-out nights at the Hollywood Palladium on October 30 & 31, 2025, setting the stage for The Growlers’ return. The band’s resurgence arrives with fresh music: the swaggering new singles “Feel My Funk” and “Crisis” deliver the familiar mix of groove and grit fans expect, and the recent Beach Goth Tape archival release shows they’re dialling in both nods to the past and bold moves ahead. The Growlers are back — ready to celebrate the songs, the fans, and the legacy that’s brought them here. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ TICKET DETAILS Do not attend if you are feeling unwell.
