The Twilight Food Affair is Tatachilla Lutheran College’s flagship community celebration and largest annual fundraiser — a much-loved tradition that has become a highlight of the McLaren Vale events calendar. Held each March on the college’s picturesque grounds, the Twilight Food Affair welcomes more than 4,000 visitors and brings together families, friends and the wider Fleurieu community for an unforgettable evening of connection and celebration. The event showcases a curated selection of the Fleurieu Peninsula’s most popular food trucks, alongside a vibrant pop-up bar featuring premium wines and beers generously donated by some of McLaren Vale’s most respected cellar doors and breweries. A festive atmosphere is created through carnival rides, sideshow attractions, live musical performances and a spectacular fireworks finale. Now in its 20th year, the Twilight Food Affair is renowned for its authentic, family-friendly atmosphere and strong community spirit. The event proudly supports local businesses while reinvesting all funds raised into enhancing teaching and learning opportunities for Tatachilla students — ensuring the impact of Twilight is felt well beyond the evening itself.
