Join us for this hands-on workshop where Amanda Fleming from Willunga Fruit Tree Pruning will talk us through the how, why, what & when of pruning. Various tools and pruning techniques will be discussed, followed by a hands-on pruning demonstration. Topics covered in the workshop will include: Why do we prune? The timing of pruning Tools Techniques Demonstration Q&A This event will be held outside, so please remember to bring the following: A drink bottle & hat. Wear weather-appropriate clothing and enclosed shoes If you have eye protection, gloves & secateurs, bring those too! This workshop will be held at a lovely property with abundant fruit trees, including apples, pears, lemons, grapefruit, apricots, macadamias, and 250 almond trees.
