Explore the vibrant event scene and make the most of your time this month in Lobethal. From art to mindfulness and more, we have the biggest event range and best discovery experience, there's something for everyone.
Join local botanist Andrew Crompton for a guided walk through Lobethal Bushland Park, focusing on learning to recognise and understand the local plants and ecosystem. Andrew will share practical insights into plant identification, key features to look for, and how different species grow and interact. This walk is an opportunity to build confidence in observing plants more closely and deepen your knowledge of the bushland flora around you. After the walk, settle into a gentle, reflective nature art session led by local artist Bethany Neck. This guided creative practice invites you to slow down and translate your observations into sketches and watercolour paintings. No prior art experience is needed, this session is about noticing, curiosity, and connection rather than creating a polished artwork. Together, this immersive experience blends botany and creativity, offering a deeper way to engage with nature, sharpen your observational skills, and develop a personal record of your time in the bush. Perfect for nature lovers, curious beginners, and anyone seeking a mindful, hands on way to connect with the environment.
