The Rockhampton Manufacturing Hub will be hosting a 2-day LEAN Manufacturing & Cultural Maturity workshop facilitated by TXM Lean Solutions. This series has been redesigned for 2026 based on industry feedback and will provide fresh insights into LEAN Thinking and the challenges of sustainably improving business productivity. Participants will learn why achieving profitable growth is a challenge for small and medium sized businesses, core LEAN manufacturing and operations principles, methods to apply with their business, and more. All participants will leave with tangible actions that they can implement immediately and be provided with a library of resources to guide them through their journey.
ASIST is an internationally certified and recognised training and is considered the best practice when it comes to suicide intervention programs. Anyone 16 and over is eligible to register for this training session, and no prerequisites are required. The course is NO COST for MATES in Energy, Mining & Manufacturing partner employees otherwise the course costs $330 for community members or construction industry workers. At the end of the 2 day workshop, industry workers will receive a MATES Hi-Vis ASIST branded work shirt.
