With over 50 years of combined educational experience, from classroom teaching in remote Indigenous communities to leadership expertise, these two Indigenous academics will invite you into their cultural lens to understand the role of community when planning curriculum.

Join us at Gladstone Carers Hub to create, connect and craft with other carers. Our In-Person Peer Support program gives carers the opportunity to take a break and build connections with other people who understand the joys and challenges of being in a caregiving role. Work on your own projects or try something new - crocheting, knitting, painting and all things creative! The program will be delivered over 10 weekly sessions from 10am - 12pm on Mondays starting from 13th April, 2026. Carers are encouraged to attend all sessions to get the most out of the experience. Tea and coffee will also be provided - please include details of any food allergies or other special dietary requirements with your RSVP.
