What's On in Kilkivan

The 2026 Winter Solstice Ancestral Gathering is a 3-day immersion to connect with community, the land, and your ancestral lineage, held on sacred and vibrant country. This space is carefully held by skilled facilitators, creating a grounded and supportive container for deep connection. Across the three days, you’ll be invited into dance and art workshops, thematic circles, and dedicated men’s and women’s spaces. There will be nourishing, organic food and many opportunities to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself. The venue includes a large camping area, toilets, and hot showers. The Hay Shed offers a fully equipped kitchen and a sheltered gathering space in case of rain. At the heart of the gathering is a Sacred Fire (non-cooking), alongside a separate communal cooking fire. Lunch on Friday 19 June, and lunch and dinners on Saturday and Sunday, will be provided. All other meals are self-catered. Camping and catered meals are included in your contribution. This gathering will be held at Kumbarcho Farm, Kilkaven, QLD.
