Learn about mobility and daily living aids that are commonly required in palliative and end-of-life care. There will be a focus on wheelchairs, wheeled walkers, and bathing & toileting aids. During this session we will cover principles of assessment and measuring clients and their environment, selecting suitable equipment for a palliative care client, adjusting wheelchairs and other mobility & daily living aids for the right setup for your client, and cleaning and maintaining mobility & daily living aids.
