Burrandowan Country Picnic Races - Saturday 9th May 2026. The races where legends are made! Join us on Saturday 9th May 2026, to celebrate 104 Years of Racing at Burrandowan. Enjoy a memorable picnic race day in the heart of the bush. Situated in the South Burnett region, our race day features a 5 Race Program, Fashion on the Field, Gourmet Picnic Hampers, BBQ Fire Pit and live entertainment. Shuttle buses from Kingaroy and surrounds are available. Camping is available onsite from Thursday 7th May 2026, first in best dressed. Camping is $15/person/night, with camping on Saturday night (Race Night) Free of Charge. We encourage you to book online, however cash at the gate will also be accepted. All size vans can be accommodated. There will be Gourmet Picnic Hampers available to pre-order, plus the Chahpingah Cafe, Lions Club and specialty food vans will be available on the day. The bar will be open until 11pm, with live music throughout the night.
