Their magnificent sixth studio album, Night Life, sees The Horrors shapeshifting into a new form with a fresh sonic outlook and line up. Known for the way they roam freely between genres, From their 2007 debut Strange House to Mercury-nominated Primary Colours, The Horrors have consistently reinvented their sound, and Night Life sees them exploring the places your mind goes when the rest of the world is asleep. Perth Folk & Roots Club runs Tatts Folk & Roots, a free monthly music event at Perth Bowling Club, 2 Plain St, Perth. Perth Folk and Roots Club is back in central Perth at the Perth Bowling and Recreation Club for a Youth Week WA Folk and Roots Music Showcase 2026 special event on Thursday 16th April 2026 supported by Department of Communities, North Metro TAFE, City of Perth and Perth Bowling and Recreation Club. Perth Folk and Roots Club is also working with Act Belong Commit in recognition of music’s contribution to mental wellbeing. The performances are free from 6pm to 9pm at Perth Bowling and Recreation Club, 2 Plain Street, Perth. For this event, Perth Folk and Roots Club has North Metro TAFE music students performing including Stimulėyės, Freddie and Mosaia duet and Sayge. Stimulėyės are a two-piece band from Perth featuring Rhys Prosser on guitar and vocals and Andrew Jacob on drums, playing high energy original songs. Freddie and Mosaia duet are Mosaia on vocals and Freddie Osborne on vocals and guitar. Sayge is a solo artist who sings, plays piano, guitar, bass and is also a singer songwriter.
