Our shadow is the place of our magical mysterious character, our undiscovered self. It is our shadow that links us to Great Mystery. In our shadow, Great Spirit hid our light. Through shadow work, we can gain access to that light, the light within the void, bridging both divine feminine and divine masculine the essence of creation. Our universe reflects this, in the darkness of the void (feminine) burns all light, energy and matter (masculine). The issues of the shadow that we must face, is the fear of the unknown. We must also face the crap we have stored in our shadow, for it is in our shadow we put all the things we could not or would not look at. The unresolved aspects, unresolved trauma, the sub or unconscious emotions. The shadow does not create the monsters we meet there, we do, often in the guise of trauma yet to be moved through our being.
