The soul vine is akin to the umbilical, comprised of two energetic cords extending from the navel. Each cord has 12 filaments of light, and each filament has an 'eye' at the end of it. Our fibres are designed to help us engage with the space, help us interpret energy and feeling so that we are response able. In conscious control we can tie our fibres with another human being in such a manner as to detect and understand the energetic field they are occupying. These techniques can create greater intimacy, understanding and life force or orende generation. The ties that bind us are the energetic enmeshment we have through co-dependent connections, conscious or unconscious. We suck from, hook in, or spear another in order to manipulate and control their behaviour in order to satisfy a need within us. That could be the need to feel loved, appreciated, to know we matter by promoting anger or sadness. As creative beings we are quite limitless in what we perceive we require from another human being. The hard lesson here is taking responsibility for our own agency. I am responsible for meeting my needs from my own resource circle. If I do not present a nipple, no one can suck from me, if I do not present a loop then no one can hook me, and if I do not present a target then no one can shoot spears, daggers or barbs at me. We co-act in unconscious agreements with others. Cord cutting only ever trims the co-dependent connections. Our healthy connections stay intact. Like trimming a rose bush in order to obtain greater bloom and beauty.
