Explore the vibrant event scene and make the most of your time next 30-days in Oberon. From education to networking and more, we have the biggest event range and best discovery experience, there's something for everyone.
It is October 1848. Frail, heartbroken, and in exile, Frédéric Chopin arrives in Scotland at the invitation of Lady Jane Stirling, his devoted student and unrequited admirer. A year from death, in the shadow of failing health and emotional ruin, Chopin takes to the stage one last time. Not to dazzle concert halls, but to bare his soul. Chopin’s Last Tour is a poignant and poetic solo performance told in the form of a personal letter. Enriched with live piano performances of Chopin's most iconic pieces, this remarkable show is written and performed by accomplished actor/pianist Phillip Aughey. If you’ve ever loved Chopin’s music, or want to discover the soul behind the notes, this is a must-see theatrical event.
Uniting five leading contemporary classical composers, the Omega Ensemble presents a performance of musical defiance and untamed brilliance.
