Celebrate Youth Week 2026 with your local library! Join us at Nowra Library for an engaging and practical session on staying safe online, presented in partnership with Headspace and NSW Police. This youth-focused presentation will explore how to protect your privacy, recognise online risks, manage digital wellbeing, and make positive choices on social media and gaming platforms.
Join us for an insightful artist talk with the emerging creatives behind Balding Is Easier Than Being Bald. Together, they will reflect on the collaborative process behind the work, drawing on their experiences across the Shoalhaven and Illawarra regions to unpack themes of change, transition, and the uncertainty of journeys versus destinations. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to hear directly from young local artists as they share the ideas, processes, and personal inspirations behind their multidisciplinary work. This is a free event but we encourage you to book. We also invite everyone to bring lunch or a snack and enjoy the Autumn vibes in the courtyard prior to the event.
Celebrate Youth Week 2026 with your local library! Join us at Nowra Library for a thrilling Escape Room challenge! Bring your friends, your wits, and your lock-breaking skills as you work together to escape. As an explorer, you've always dreamed of adventuring through Egypt. It's where your grandfather, Howard Carter, discovered the remains of the ancient pharaoh Tutankhamun. But he has a secret. Something he never told anyone other than you. He believed there was another tomb connected to the first. A hidden tomb. A Lost Mummy. That's what you've spent years preparing for, and now it's your chance to find it. While the boat ride to Egypt took forever, you've finally set foot on dusty sand ready to unearth this mystery!
Darren “D.C.” Cross is an Australian guitarist and songwriter forging a distinctly Australian acoustic guitar sound, informed by the American and British folk traditions of the 1960s and ’70s. Cross has released seven solo acoustic albums and toured widely throughout Australia and Europe. His latest album, Open Guitar (Volume One), showcases his focused, expressive approach to instrumental acoustic music. This show is a welcome return to Nowra, a perfect setting to hear Cross’s immersive guitar work up close. This is the final event for us at Spaghetti Junction, who, after four years, are getting ready to welcome our next chapter.
Celebrate Youth Week 2026 with your local library! Join us at Nowra Library to learn and laugh along with performer Anthony Lamond, as you brainstorm, rehearse and deliver your very own Stand-Up Comedy routine! This workshop will equip you with the skills and the confidence to improve your stagecraft and have the whole room howling with laughter! Pizza break included!
