Celebrating its 35th year, Flickerfest screens the BEST of SHORTS from Australia and around the globe. Flickerfest screened for 10 days under the summer stars at Bondi Beach in January, with selected highlights touring Australia on a 40+ venue national tour from Feb - Oct 2026; with Byron shire being one of the first screenings after Bondi. Audiences will experience the best of short films from the Byron Region, Australia and around the World over 3 cinematic-packed days.

We are visiting communities across the North Coast to yarn and to listen to your experiences about what issues are impacting you and your mob’s health. We want to make sure the programs we are funding are the right ones and meeting the needs of community.
