Join Murrumbidgee Landcare and NSW Biodiversity Conservation Trust for a unique evening exploring the fascinating world of owls and nocturnal wildlife in our region. Hear from guest speakers as they share insights into owl ecology, nocturnal wildlife and conservation. Learn how you can get involved in citizen science by recording wildlife sightings using iNaturalist, helping build valuable data to support conservation. As the sun sets, take part in a guided night spotlight walk to discover the hidden wildlife of Matong. Keep an eye out for owls and other nocturnal animals as we explore together. Dinner will be provided. Please RSVP by Wednesday 29th April for catering purposes. Remember to bring a torch or headlamp, and wear long pants, enclosed shoes, and warm clothing. This family-friendly community event is perfect for anyone interested in nature, learning, and protecting our local environment.
