Restoring Resilience is honoured to be co-hosting the Recreating Songlines from Trauma Trails - Weaving Indigenous Wisdom, Somatic Experiencing® and Collective Healing on the lands of the Bundjalung Nation — led by Dr Judy Atkinson and Dr Caroline Atkinson (We Al-li), in collaboration with Dr Peter A. Levine, Maggie Kline, Ash Dargan, and Restoring Resilience Co-Founders Anna Skolarikis and Phyllis Traficante. This seminar weaves We Al-li Storywork and Somatic Experiencing® through the lens of Two-Eyed Seeing — walking with both eyes open: one eye grounded in Indigenous cultural knowledge, sovereignty, and ways of being one eye informed by deep observation of nature, physiology, instinct, and the body’s innate capacity to heal Together, these ways of knowing help restore what has been fragmented — returning people, families, and communities to belonging, dignity, and wholeness. Held by Lake Ainsworth — a place of cleansing, reflection, and renewal — participants will move through a culturally held process of listening, story, movement, learning, and remembrance, guided by Country as teacher. Monthly embodied gathering for women to slow down, soften, and reconnect through movement, breath, reflection and gentle feminine ritual. Rose Alchemy Temple is a monthly sacred gathering for women to step out of survival mode and into the body, the heart, and inner knowing. Each Temple is guided through embodied movement, breath, nervous system regulation, seasonal reflection, and gentle ritual. Creating a safe, trauma-aware space to soften, release, and remember who you are beneath the layers of life. Inspired by the rhythms of nature and the Wheel of the Year, every gathering weaves in a different seasonal energy and feminine archetypal theme, supporting your inner cycles of rest, growth, creation, and renew. This is about slowing down, listening, and returning home to yourself.
Karuna calls forward the motivating quality of enlightened beings who are working to alleviate the suffering on Earth. Karuna utilizes sacred symbology, chanting and the vibration of the voice as a wave and carrier for Karuna energy. It is through sound that the healing frequencies can penetrate more deeply on a cellular level within the physical body.
