The Kendall Community String Festival is back in 2026. Workshops will be practical... bring your instruments and advance your playing immediately. In each workshop we form an ensemble and work together on our playing. The workshops conclude with a brief performance reviewing what we have learnt and settling our experience of improvement. All ages and abilities welcome. Saturday March 7, 2.30 pm (to 4.30 pm): Foundations of Playing. Sunday March 8, 11 am (to 1 pm): Effective Practice. Sunday March 8 concludes with a recital by 2023 Kendall National Violin Competition Winner, the brilliantly talented Beatrice Colombis. Sunday March 8, 2 pm PhiloMusica Recital.
