Celebrating ten years of music and community. Ten years goes by quicker than you’d think! Join the Katoomba Music team to celebrate the past decade we have had as part of this fantastic community and all the friends we’ve made during that time. Featuring performances from CK & the 45s and Tap Hammer with more to be announced, it should be a very special night and we can’t wait to see you all there.
You are invited to join us for a special evening of live music in Katoomba at the Little Lost Bookshop. Touring for the last time through NSW before their massive debut tour of Europe along with their 3rd album release, JC & the Tree are an act not to be missed! Hailing from the Sunshine Coast, they create folk-rock fusion that feels both intricate yet easy to listen to. Their music is filled with soaring violin, rich harmonies, soulful piano and hand-built acoustic guitars. Inspired by life and nature, their songs take you on a journey through folk, roots, rock with a pinch of gypsy and funk. They’ve toured now full-time for 3 years with festival appearances at Woodford, Yackandandah Folk fest, Savannah in the Round plus many more. Passionate about the environment, they offer a full range of eco-conscious, ethically sourced merch and guitars built by frontman Jesse from fallen cyclone timber.
An in-person gathering featuring a live-stream webcast of the Celebrating Women in Conservation Breakfast. Join us in celebrating the significant conservation contributions of women across Australia. Annual Celebrating Women in Conservation Webinar hosted by Bush Heritage Australia and Trust for Nature. Lisa Millaer, CEO at Wedgetail, will be speaking.
Link Wentworth residents are invited to come along to a 2026 Tenant Voice Forum. We’ll share the results of last year’s Tenant Satisfaction Survey and some of the service improvements we’ve been working on. We’ll workshop improvement ideas together and listen to your thoughts on customer service, repairs and maintenance, complaints and appeals, and anything else you’d like to raise. Lunch and refreshments provided.

Moonflower Movement classes are somatic burlesque classes focusing on sensual burlesque and fusion styles. They are about stepping into your power celebrating your body and self and connecting with your body. We will cover burlesque with a fusion of other styles including 20s - 60s vintage dance, silk veil fan dance, bellydance and temple dance styles focusing on dance as an embodied ritual in which we honour and celebrate ourself! We will work two routines over two sessions with COMPLETELY optional performances. The Moonflower Movement classes will help us build up a repertoire of dance movements and help you explore all the different ways to move your body and what your body is capable of with optional empowering burlesque fusion performance opportunities available to dancers future shows. The space is bathed in a tea light for each class as we connect with our bodies and each other and take back our power as beautiful, sensual dancers owning our bodies and reveling in its beauty! This is a burlesque act where a rainbow silk veil will be used in the opening half of the routine. Dance based in conscious and somatic movement and in connection with our body and celebrating ourselves. This is our kind of burlesque and sensual dance class fused with a whole lot more to add to your practice.
