Printing Textiles Saturday 16 May 2026 10am to 3pm The Tinkerage, Dunmore Teacher: Kathy Orton Give your textiles a fresh new life in this creative and hands on workshop with artist and educator Kathy Orton. Learn how to screen print funky designs onto recycled fabrics and transform everyday items such as cushion covers, tote bags, pillowcases, aprons, tea towels and tablecloths. Kathy will guide you through simple printing techniques and show you how to create bold, personalised designs on cotton and linen. This workshop is perfect for anyone wanting to explore textile art, reduce waste and add new character to well loved fabrics.
Take your mosaic skills to the next level with this creative and hands on workshop led by mosaic artist Kay Wheeler. In this intermediate class, you will learn how to cut and shape reclaimed tiles using a range of mosaic tools. Kay will guide you through techniques for creating circles, triangles and squares to form an abstract design. You will use these skills to make your own trivet from salvaged materials. This workshop is ideal for those who have tried mosaics before and want to deepen their knowledge while working with reclaimed resources.
