Get moving these school holidays with a free youth boxing workshop led by Dorrigo Boxing Club at Dorrigo Recreation Grounds. Open to young people aged 12 to 18, this session is a chance to learn boxing basics, build skills and give it a go in a supportive group environment. You’ll learn a style that centres movement, confidence and “real strength” in both body and heart. Whether you are already into boxing or just keen to try something new, this is a solid chance to train, have fun and get involved.

Neoliberalism has come to both govern and constrain our lives in its domination of the political and economic agenda of the West. George Monbiot deconstructs the roots, secretive propagation and deep impact of a little-understood doctrine that has played a profound role in transforming our economics, politics and environment, driving many of the crises we face today. This event hosted by Dorrigo Environment Watch and Old Gazette Film Society is to raise funds for environmental baseline monitoring at Wild Cattle Creek in response to antimony mining interests on the Dorrigo Plateau.
