Environment Events in Cudgen

Tweed Shire Council's popular Farm Walk & Talk series continues with a visit to the Prichard's family farm - Cudgen Road Farms. The Cudgen Plateau has a rich farming history based on fertile ferrosol soils and a favourable coastal climate. However, these values are at significant risk from changing land uses, development pressure and land use conflict. Get along to Cudgen and see how local farmers are dealing with environmental and social challenges and the importance of productive agriculture on our urban fringes.
