Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, this event is perfect for young people who want to spend some holiday time on a relaxing hobby. Expert guidance will be provided by our friends from Cowra Library's Yarn Whisperers. Grab a friend and join us for a fun morning of crochet! This workshop is part of the 2026 Cowra Youth Week program and is suitable for young people in Years 6 & above (or equivalent age). FREE registration includes all materials, morning tea and a take home crochet kit.

Join us for 2 x morning sessions planting trees, shrubs and understory species to enhance habitat for the Superb Parrot. Garrallan is a 690ha property on the Gilari(Lachlan river) with 80ha designated as Biodiversity Conservation Trust including all our river frontage. Marion, farm operator is looking for volunteers to help plant 300 tubes from Greening Australia and about 200 tubes from Weddin Nursey in the ground for the 2026 season.
