"Kangaroo" is a heartwarming 2025 Australian family comedy about a disgraced TV host who teams up with a young girl to rescue orphaned kangaroos in the Outback. When former TV personality Chris Masterman finds himself stranded in a remote town outside Alice Springs, his life takes an unexpected turn. There he meets Charlie, a spirited 12-year-old Indigenous girl. Together they form an unlikely friendship and begin rescuing and caring for orphaned joeys in their beautiful but remote Outback community. What starts as a simple act of kindness soon becomes a journey that changes both of their lives.
