Community Legal Centres NSW has developed the Victims Services Community Worker Training Program to equip social workers, health workers and support workers with the knowledge and resources to complete Victims Services application forms accurately and to provide appropriate supporting evidence to clients and community legal centres making applications. The training will provide guidance for making eligible applications and understanding the nuances of the application process, plus tips for avoiding common mistakes. It aims to ensure that more victim-survivors receive the compensation they are entitled to under the Victims Rights and Support Act.

These sessions are for organisations to have a one on one discussion with a Child Safe Officer about their Child Safe journey. These sessions are for organisations who have started on their child safe journeys and are looking for extra support. Come along and speak with one of our Child Safe Engagement Officers about any questions you have about implementing the Standards. You can also bring along your Child Safe Self-Assessment Action Report. To get the report, visit cssa.ocg.nsw.gov.au and complete the 30-minute self-assessment.
