The course is a flat, scenic 5km loop along the Stockton foreshore walking track, offering views of the Hunter River, Newcastle Harbour, Nobbys Lighthouse, and Stockton Beach. The route follows shared paths past parks, playgrounds, and the ferry terminal before returning to finish near Griffith Park.
