On Sunday, 10 May, bring your friends and family and join a simple walk that can start powerful conversations around health and the importance of breast care. According to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, 56 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer every day, that’s more than 20,000 people diagnosed each year. One in seven women and around one in 600 men are diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. Breast cancer touches so many people and lives in our community – take steps for mum this Mother’s Day, as well as steps to be breast care aware, prioritise your health, and start important conversations.
