Love. Camera. Action is a delightful romantic comedy set in the Australian town of Warbol, where faded actress Faith Farmer revives the local cinema, sparking a romance-filled revolution. Join Faith and the residents of Warbol in this colorful book event.
A sharp, cheeky farce by Steve Martin, adapted from the 1911 German satire by Carl Sternheim. A woman’s accidental wardrobe malfunction sparks social scandal in this razor-sharp comedy of status, desire, and absurdity. Farce meets finesse in a satire that strips Victorian pretensions bare. Please note: this production contains adult themes and is not suitable for children.
After witnessing a Mafia murder, slick saxophone player Joe (Tony Curtis) and his long-suffering friend Jerry (Jack Lemmon) come up with a quick plan to save their lives. Disguised as women, they join an all-female jazz band and board a train bound for sunny Florida. While Joe pretends to be a millionaire to win the heart of the band’s alluring singer, Sugar (Marilyn Monroe), Jerry finds himself the target of a real millionaire (Joe E. Brown) as the mobsters close in. Presented by Southern Tablelands Arts as part of STA Screen 2026.
