Whether you are a beginner looking to improve your skills or just want to learn more about capturing great shots, this workshop is perfect for you. For ages 12-18. Jaikira will cover topics like aperture, shutter speed and ISO to help take your photography to the next level. No equipment necessary, Jaikira will provide cameras to let you have the opportunity to put your learnings into practice straight away!

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty in line with first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other Australian national peak clinical bodies. Participants must have the physical capacity to perform the practical demonstrations, such as 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the floor and performing rescue breathing techniques on manikins.
Training Aim: This training is designed to provide individuals and communities with the essential skills and resources required to identify and respond to a person at risk of suicide and build on a communities capacity to eliminate suicide. Learning Outcomes: Use the language given in the National Communications Charter Language Guide – Suicide, to have safe and respectful conversations around suicide; Recognise the warning signs of suicide; Identify and develop personal self-care strategies; Promote help-seeking behaviour before a crisis occurs; Identify and promote protective factors; Identify how to support a person at risk to access appropriate services and to develop their own safety plan; Increase individuals’ and communities’ capacity to reduce suicide.

This training runs over 2 days, listed above. Fully simulated. This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to prepare for and provide medication assistance, and complete medication documentation. It also involves supporting a client to self-administer medication. This unit applies to community services and health workers with authority in their state or territory to assist with the administration of medication.

Learning Outcomes: Through the completion of this workshop, participants will be able to: Build on the strategies and understandings from Self-Care and Mental Wellbeing Level 1. Explore reframing to improve mental wellbeing. Use Polyvagal Theory to identify strategies to reduce stress in daily life. Revise and update their personalised Self-Care and Mental Wellbeing plan.
