Meet bestselling Australian author Fiona Lowe at Cessnock Library as she discusses her latest gripping novel, The Drowning. Authentically Australian, Fiona Lowe’s stories are often triggered by a secret or a mystery, and they explore the themes of family, community and second chances.

This practical program run by the Australian Red Cross teaches children what to pack in an emergency. For ages 7-12. The program teaches emergency preparedness not only in what to pack during an emergency, but also prepares children for the thoughts and feelings that may arise during and after an emergency.

A chill drop in session for young people to hang out and make friends. Join us for a fun-filled day at Cessnock Youth Centre! Whether you want to play games, try activities, or just relax, there's something for everyone.
