Set Up for School – A Back-to-School Support Afternoon. Lovely ladies, school is starting soon — which often means heavier backpacks, longer days, and lots of adjustments for our kids (and us). free Back-to-School Support Afternoon at Apex Park, Wellington Point. Occupational Therapist and Speech Pathologist from Look Who’s Talking (Birkdale) will be there. Mums and their school-aged children of all ages – including teens – are welcome. Apex Park Playground, Wellington Point. Tuesday 10th February 2026, 3:30pm. Please bring your child’s backpack. During the afternoon: Wellness on Wellington will discuss backpack fit, weight, posture, and comfort. OT and Speech Pathologist from Look Who’s Talking will be available. Kids can enjoy play time at the park while mums connect and enjoy some light afternoon refreshments. one-on-one chats. This event is completely free to attend. Light afternoon refreshments will be provided. It’s a lovely opportunity to start the school year feeling supported, informed, and connected with trusted local professionals — all in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
