Get ready for Christmas Day at the Katoomba Hub! Join us for a festive event filled with creative gift wrapping. We'll have plenty of supplies on site to help you wrap your gifts, whether you prefer traditional Christmas wrapping or want to make your own.

A playful clay workshop for all ages, where the emphasis is not on producing a finished artwork but on the shared experience of making. Participants will explore clay in a way that celebrates creativity, collaboration, and impermanence. Working in small groups, everyone will begin by shaping a simple air-dry clay sculpture of their own design.

Create a miniature scene within an immersive small-scale diorama. Design and construct a layered engaging diorama. Explore scale and depth to translate your vision into small scale three-dimensional scene. Bring you diorama to life with photos, textures, sound and found objects. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have crafted a unique diorama that not only captures a moment or memory but also demonstrates new approaches to combining media in small-scale installation art.

In this festive workshop, children aged 8-12 will unleash their creativity by designing and crafting their own unique Christmas card featuring an Australian bird illustration. A fun and engaging activity to celebrate the holiday season!
