We are delighted to offer an exclusive Giraffe feed as part of Enlighten: Beyond Presents Wild Night Zooventure at the National Zoo and Aquarium.

This is the recommended training to take for new carers because over 60% of animals in ACT Wildlife's care are birds. Topics will include: Identification, Basic anatomy and life stages, Diet, Husbandry, Housing, Common injuries and illnesses, and How to release. Notes will be provided after the training.

This Orientation session will give you all the information you need about ACT Wildlife works in the community and how you can help. This is for members only.

ACT Wildlife would not be able to help native animals if we did not have volunteers to answer the phone calls from people who have found an animal in distress.

Learn about Brushtail possums, Sugar gliders and Ringtail possums. Instruction on how to care for these species as each species has different diets, habits, housing etc. As a possum carer you will experience first hand these delightful creatures and rehabilitate them to return to the wild.
