Join us for a unique workshop on Wurundjeri Woiwurrung Country - right here in Manningham - where you'll be guided by the Wurundjeri Djirri Djirri group into a deeper, living relationship with the waterway at the heart of our city. Language is not just communication - it is a lens. When we learn the Woiwurrung words for Country, we begin to perceive what has always been here: the relationships between the layers of Country and living beings that have sustained this land for millennia. This is a rare opportunity for nature lovers and curious locals to step beyond the familiar riverbank path and into an ancient way of knowing. Whether you walk the river trails of Manningham regularly, tend a garden, or simply feel the pull of the natural world, this workshop will open something that cannot be closed. You will leave with new words - and new eyes.
