Join us at Gladstone Carers Hub to create, connect and craft with other carers. Our In-Person Peer Support program gives carers the opportunity to take a break and build connections with other people who understand the joys and challenges of being in a caregiving role. Work on your own projects or try something new - crocheting, knitting, painting and all things creative! The program will be delivered over 10 weekly sessions from 10am - 12pm on Tuesdays starting from 7th April, 2026.
Have you ever wanted to learn the art of crochet or knitting? Are you an expert and would like to share your skills? Sessions will be held fortnightly from 9:30am - 11:30am on Wednesdays starting from 8th April, 2026. A selection of yarn and knitting tools will be provided, or bring along your own materials if you wish! Morning tea will also be provided - please include details of any food allergies or other special dietary requirements with your RSVP.

Ellerslie Flowers is coming to The Stables for an exclusive bouquet workshop! Leanne from Ellerslie Flowers has been a part of the Kempsey community for years and she is bringing her knowledge to The Stables. Doors open at 1pm. 1pm-1.30pm: Enjoy a glass of sparkling wine on arrival and some canapes served on The Stables Deck (included in price, non alcoholic welcome drink will also be available). 1.30-3pm: This is where you can get creative, learn about how to compose a beautiful bouquet that you will take home with you! 3pm-4pm: Sit back, relax, compare your bouquet and make sure to take some beautiful pictures!
